In 2017 I rode my bicycle across the country from Florence, OR. to Wrightsville Beach, NC. Total miles....3,649!
A special touring bike? Nope! A $350 department store mountain bike and no prior experience with bicycle touring. The one thing I had was determination and that only came after I made the decision to do the ride and there were no other options.
While on the road for 3 1/2 months I had the opportunity to see and experience America in a way I never could have imagined. From the challenges to the victories! More than anything though, was the caring and compassion of total strangers all across America!
