Today, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day, a day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy every day.

I turned “someday” into “today” the moment I decided to ride my bike across America in 2017. No special bike or training just the decision to start! Selecting a route, setting small milestones, and leaning on the kindness of strangers along the way. 

The smallest shift in our daily habits can spark big changes. 

This week's "spark" really hits home for me as it was the theme for my bike ride across America in 2017.
