Begin where you are

We can’t always see where we’re headed or what lies ahead. This photo, taken during my bike ride across America in Kansas, captures the longest stretch without a single turn. The road appeared endless, vanishing into the horizon.

It was a little daunting, not knowing where I might find food or rest. For miles, I saw almost no vehicles, just the open road and my thoughts.

That experience made me realize how easy it is to go through life on autopilot. We wait for things to get easier or for just the right moment. But life keeps moving, and new chances show up every day. The "perfect" time almost never comes. So, stop for a second and think:

• Are there ambitions or dreams you’ve set aside?
• Maybe there’s a friend or relative you’ve thought about reaching out to.
• Is there something from the past you’re ready to release?
• Perhaps you’ve been delaying a project or change that matters to you.
