Don't let later become your life story

"Later" is a small word that seems harmless on the surface. We often use it in casual conversations, such as "See you later" or "Talk to you later." However, we need to be careful with this word, because if we use it too casually, "later" may never come.
Recently, I’ve had conversations with family, friends, and neighbors that have made me reflect on the concept of "later."
Illness, work responsibilities, natural disasters, national and world events, and even death have all come up in these discussions. Maybe it’s just a part of getting older that these topics arise more frequently, but it all illustrates that our time is not unlimited. All we are truly guaranteed is today.
What have you been putting off for "later"? Is it something as simple as a phone call or text message to a loved one or friend? Perhaps it’s a dream you’ve carried for years that keeps getting postponed, or maybe it’s just a mundane household chore.
The title and lyrics of Garth Brooks' hit song "If Tomorrow Never Comes" serve as a powerful reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to cherish today.

Don't let "later" become your life story.
