Embace Life at Every Curve

Every curve in the road has its own story. Some challenge us. Others surprise us. But each one plays a role in moving us forward—stretching us, shaping us, and reminding us that the journey is just as important as the destination.

This photo was taken in Colorado during my bike ride across America in 2017. It holds special meaning for me—not just because of the breathtaking view, but because it was taken in my brother Bob’s home state. I was riding in his honor, and passing through Colorado felt deeply personal. Every mile there carried extra weight and purpose.

I remember the moment well: the climb was tough, the air was thin, but the view was worth every pedal stroke. It's one of those quiet scenes that stays with you—not because of its drama, but because of its simplicity. The curve in the road reminded me that we rarely see the whole path at once, and that’s okay.
