As we step into a new week, remember that every journey begins with a single step (or pedal) . Riding through Kansas on my bike ride across America in 2017 presented its own set of challenges. The wind was often a fierce companion, pushing against me as I made my way down the highway. There were moments when I questioned my stamina and determination, but each time I felt fatigue creeping in, I reminded myself of the purpose behind my journey. Every mile I conquered brought me closer to my goal, and the sense of accomplishment was invigorating. I learned to appreciate the small victories, whether it was reaching a small town for a much-needed break or simply enjoying a stunning sunset after a long day of riding. "As long as you're moving forward, it doesn't matter how fast you're going".
