I came across this quote and it really is what the photo and post is about: "Most of life is spent in ordinary moments." I took this photo years ago while walking around Kathryn Albertson Park in Boise, Idaho. Nothing special was happening that day. I just stopped and looked. I don't remember that walk anymore. But that's part of why I enjoy photography. Looking through old photos takes me back to a certain time and place, even when my own memory fades. That's what this photo does for me. I was just out on an ordinary walk, and years later it still brings me right back. As we head into a new season, these ordinary moments will soon be a memory until next spring. The walks, the butterflies, the green leaves. They fade quietly, and we often don't notice until they're gone. Maybe the ordinary moments are worth more attention than we give them. They're what life is mostly made of, after all. What seemingly ordinary moment have you stopped to really notice recently?
