Seasons provide a fresh start

Photo taken at Duff Pond in Middleon,  Idaho. I have been posting photos in black and white, but didn't feel the full story could be told without the gorgeous colors in this photograph.

This was a favorite place for Nick and I to visit,  often several times each month.  It was also the place he caught his biggest bass. Not positive,  but I think his personal record still stands.

To see the transitions at the places Nick and I vistited were part of the fresh start we couldn't see even a month or so earlier. Truly beautiful and dare I say almost spiritual!

Everything runs in seasons. Trees know it. Weather knows it. We don’t always remember.
Some chapters end. New ones start. That doesn’t mean the old ones were bad; it just means their time has passed.

We don't have to worry about every shift. There is often something waiting in the next one. Clarity. Rest.  A fresh start we couldn't see before.

Whatever season you’re in, what might this one bring that we haven’t noticed yet? Seasons change, sometimes quietly and sometimes all at once.
